Make the beard hair silky smooth & reduce friction during shaving

Before you start your shaving session, it is important that the face is "washed" with warm water so that pores open and beard hair softens. Ideally, you shave after a hot shower. Start shaving with a shaving oil or gel to reduce friction of your razor on the skin.
